Prediction: How I saw 9/11 coming…
In about 1996 I was struggling with nightmares and
visions of earth going through a global catastrophe.
In the visions I had seen a wave of disasters, one
of which was the attack on the World Trade Centre.
Under the heavy haze of depression and anxiety I
made tentative steps towards raising money to research
a solution to these horrifying dreams and visions
and in 1997 ordered an advert to be placed in the
Big Issue, followed by another one. The advert read,
‘We are entering the most turbulent and exciting
period in human history… be ready!’
(See figure 1). As you might imagine I didn’t
get many replies. But I read as much I could about
possible catastrophies that could happen on a global
scale and decided to focus my attention on those
and form a plan around survival, which I felt would
be the key social, economic and political issue
of the coming decades. But I kept returning to New
York and its key economic role. What was it’s
future as humanity continued to wreck the earth?
